CLEANER REQUIRED
Caister Primary School are looking to appoint a cleaner (2 poistions) to join their team. In the first instance, the role is being advertised for 10 & 12.5 hours per week but there may be the possibility of additional hours in the longer term. The working pattern is Monday to Friday for 2 hours per day worked any time between 3pm and 5:00/5:30pm. £12.65 per hour.

We are seeking applications from individuals with:
- High standards
- Experience of cleaning in a school or similar environment
- The ability to work as part of a team
- An understanding of GDPR, safeguarding and confidentiality
- A good sense of humour

Personal qualities are of paramount important, and the person appointed will be expected to display patience, enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility, and reliability. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Bookings for the Summer Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme are now open.

Activities will run between 20th July – 2nd September 2026, and bookings will be taken on the Eequ activity finder.

Children aged 5-16 (or 4 if in Reception) receiving benefits-related free school meals can enjoy free activities, including a free, nutritious lunch.

The scheme is run in partnership with Norfolk County Council and is funded by the UK Government.

This programme is designed for HAF-eligible children and aims to reduce holiday hunger while supporting families in need. It also provides a range of engaging activities, with the added benefit of helping to improve school engagement and behaviour among participating pupils.

In addition, paid-for places are available for children who are not in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, ensuring the opportunity is accessible to a wider group of families.

🦷 FREE Drop‑In Dental Screening for Children
Friday 10th April 2026 | 10am – 12pm
📍 Great Yarmouth Library, The Place, 37–39 Market Place, NR30 1LX
We’re excited to be working in partnership with The Happy Smiles Club at John G Plummer & Associates Dental Surgeons to offer families a free, drop‑in dental screening session.
This quick screening includes a simple oral health check to spot any early signs of tooth decay.
If any follow‑up treatment is needed, this will be discussed with families afterwards.
✨ Open to all children aged 11 and under — whether they are registered with a dentist or not.
🎁 PLUS! Each child will receive a free dental goodie bag (while stocks last).
Please note: John G Plummer & Associates are currently unable to offer NHS registrations.
