For anyone that has asked about the funeral arrangements for George. Please see below, join us to pay our respects and say our final goodbyes to such a beloved member, the Quest legend himself❤️

It is with unimaginable sadness that we share the details for the final journey of our beloved Anthony George (George).

We warmly invite anyone who shared the same love as us for George to join us in laying him to rest and celebrating his life.

Funeral arrangements:

📅 Date: Thursday 16th July 2026

⛪ Church Service:
A church service will be held at

South pandy lane, Pontygwindy rd, Caerphilly CF833HT

At 11:30 am

🏋️ Second Service (Gym Tribute):
12:30pm at the back of Quest Gym, Caerphilly – a special service to celebrate George’s love for the gym, the friendships he built there, and the inspiration he gave to so many.

⚰️ Burial:
We will then take George on his last journey to Bedwas Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.

🍽️ Wake:
After that, we would love for anyone who knew George to join us in celebrating his life, sharing stories, and giving him the send off he deserves at Bedwas Rugby Club.

There is no dress code – George would want you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The family’s wishes are, if possible, to wear a T-shirt with a picture of you and George, or just George on it. As a family, we think it would be beautiful to look around and see all the different memories George shared with everyone.

The family are so grateful for all the love, kindness, and support being shown at this incredibly difficult time and thankyou everyone for being part of George’s life.
