What a beautiful day full of fun ( and a few tears... mostly from me!) 🙂
We've had songs and dancing and moving and playing and exploring and laughing....our usual mix of exploration and fun all at the wildlife park today xx
Thankyou to my youngest monkey for coming to help today... And the lady that helped us carry a couple of bags on the way out.. which luckily saved us getting everything wet!
🥳We've sang Happy birthday 6 times today which has been so special🥳
I've had some beautiful flowers, cards and cuddles ... And a fantastic start to the day as my eldest got his GCSE results ( and passed everything, with fab results, we're super proud)🫶
All in all, a brilliant day. Thankyou to The Meadows Wildlife Park for welcoming us to hold classes this week, what a fantastic space xx and thankyou to everyone for coming out to join us.
Classes start back in a couple of weeks and all sessions are open for booking online now... We can't wait to see you all xx
Best wishes and happy playing everyone
Samantha and Totsy 🐵 xx

🧡 Having a new baby 👶 can be such a whirlwind... You will feel ALL the emotions!
It's a truly amazing time but also exhausting, overwhelming and often a little lonely at times.
And when you finally get a moment to look up, it’s hard to know what to do next.
Like what baby class to go to.
Should you try baby massage? Or yoga? Or signing? Maybe sensory play?
You just want to do what’s best, but it’s hard to know where to start.
That’s exactly why we created the Tots Play Baby Development Course. A warm, supportive space that brings together everything you need to support your baby’s development (and your own wellbeing too).
Over six weeks, you’ll enjoy:
✔️ Massage, yoga, signing and sensory play
✔️ Calming techniques for you both
✔️ Colic relief and tummy time support
✔️ Gentle guidance on ways to help you bond, breathe and be present
You’ll also get a comprehensive workbook, online resources and massage oil to continue the experience at home.
And perhaps most importantly, you’ll meet other mums who totally understand how your life has changed (and why you've not managed a hot cup of tea in days!! ☕🍼)
🩵 Classes are small and relaxed, and everything is built around helping you feel more calm, connected and confident in how to support your baby and their development.
💙 For more information or to book a course now visit https://www.totsplay.co.uk/caerphilly
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need somewhere to come as you are and leave a little more replenished.
I’d love to welcome you... If you're unsure where to start then why not join one of our workshop sessions in August

We love sensory play at Tots Play, it has so many benefits, and is so much fun! Here are just a few of the reasons why sensory play is a great activity to share with your baby:
💖Sensory play builds nerve connections within your little one’s developing brain, creating neural pathways, which trigger a child’s inclination for and ability to complete more complex learning tasks
💖Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction
💖Sensory play aids in developing and enhancing memory and creative thinking
💖Sensory play is great for calming an anxious or frustrated child
💖Sensory play helps children learn important concepts and properties, like hot, cold, sticky, dry, etc
Need some simple sensory play ideas that are easy to do at home too? Come and join us at Tots Play for sensory inspiration you can easily recreate at home 🥰
👍 🤔And for tots that have already joined us, what is your little ones favourite sensory play activity?💭💬🧐
