I’ve struggled to find the words to write this post and sum up all I’m feeling as we open our doors for the last day today, after over 8 years of caring for children in the community.
Since announcing we were closing, I have received so many kind messages from our current and past parents, staff, and even from those that haven’t been to the nursery before, and I just want to thank you all for your support, it has meant a lot.
🌼 To our darling children, I hope that you enjoy your next adventure, whether it’s to school, or on to another nursery, I hope you keep being your amazing selves and continue enjoying learning and discovering new things.
🌼 To our amazing parents, thank you so much for entrusting us to look after your children. Your support has been invaluable, it has been so great building relationships with you to support the children, and it has been such a pleasure to be part of their early years journey.
🌼 And lastly, but certainly not least, to our brilliant team, both past and present. You are enthusiastic, caring, kind, knowledgeable, loyal, and all extremely hard working. I thank you for your support and loyalty, and for all you have done and how hard you have worked over the years. Although I know you love your jobs, I know it’s not always been easy, and you have always been willing to continuously adapt, keep learning and growing with the changes to regulations and curriculum, in order for us to provide the best possible early years’ experience for the children. I certainly couldn’t have done it without you and I’m very grateful to you all.
Whilst I’m heartbroken at saying goodbye to everyone, and there have been many tears shed already, I’m also proud of all we have achieved. I hope that we can all look back at the nursery and reflect on all the happy times we’ve had and memories we’ve made. Thank you all, Catherine
