Caddington Village School

Our Year 1 and 2 children had a fun day today at Stockwood Park Discovery Centre. They carried out a workshop and learned all about the history of Vauxhall. They also enjoyed the time playing and having lunch with their friends. Thank you to all the parents who supported this trip, it is much appreciated, and to the staff who organised an exciting day for our pupils.

Our visitors have arrived after their long journey from Eitorf in Germany. They've enjoyed their fish and chips (thank you SkyFry's!) and are now enjoying some outdoor games before settling down for the evening. The children will spend the next two days at both schools enjoying life in a British classroom!

The children in Early Years enjoyed a fabulous picnic yesterday with their teddies and were joined by our local preschool to form new friendships.
Today our Reception children enjoyed adventures in the woods to stay cool.

Well done to our Year 6 pupils who faced their SATs last week with confidence and resilience. We're proud of them 😊

This week, it was great to see the first session of our Thursday lunchtime Girls' Cricket Club for Years 3-6. These sessions are being run by coaches from Luton Women and Girls' Cricket Club and girls can just turn up and join in. We are so lucky to have our huge school field which looks amazing in the sunshine!

Well done to our Year 5 girls who took part in a 'Girls' Football Session' on Wednesday. They worked well defending and attacking as a team!

Congratulations to our Year 3,4 & 5 Cross Country runners who competed in last week's event and a huge congratulations to those who won medals!👏🏻
