About Little Bears Childminding. I am Sarah an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I registered as a Childminder in July 2023, before that I worked as an Ofsted Registered Nanny, Maternity Nurse and Infant/Child Sleep Consultant for over ten year. I am a qualified Nurse and Midwife and worked for the NHS for many many years before opting for a better work/life balance in 2013 and deciding to become a c
hildren’s nanny. Enhanced DBS , Paediatric First Aid and excellent references. Based in Buxton, Derbyshire Little Bears is a small childcare setting. We have three spaces each day for babies/toddlers aged @10 months to four years of age. As an Ofsted Registered Childminder, I deliver the Early year foundation stage(EYFS) teaching in the same way as nurseries. As a smaller setting I am able to focus on your child’s needs and development more closely, and deliver a curriculum to meet their bespoke needs. Our days are a mixture of free play, adult led activities, sensory/messy play, we attending music & activity groups and have daily outing to parks, woodlands, library and National Trust properties. A hot home cooked midday meal is provided, plus healthy snacks. For nap time children sleep on their own sleep mat or travel cot. Qualifications:
