📣 We're Hiring – Two Teaching & Learning Assistants! 📣

Are you passionate about helping children thrive? The Woodland Federation of Peak District Schools is looking for two enthusiastic and flexible Teaching & Learning Assistants to join our supportive and caring team.

🌟 What you'll do:
✅ Support children across the primary age range in the classroom
✅ Work with small groups and, where needed, provide 1:1 support
✅ Help children feel safe, valued and successful in their learning journey
✅ Be part of a dedicated federation committed to children's progress and wellbeing

📍 Location: Great Hucklow CE Primary School, Peak Forest CE Primary School, or Stoney Middleton CE Primary School

⏰ Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time (39 weeks per year)

💷 Salary: Grade 7 Actual Salary £20,374.92 – £21,859.68 per annum (£27,088 - £29,062 FTE)

📅 Closing Date: 15 July 2026

PLANT SALE AT PEAK FOREST PRIMARY TOMORROW, 8 - 10am; 2.30 - 3.30pm.

We have had some beautiful plants delivered ready for sale tomorrow, basket & trailing plants, herbs, some larger plants and hanging baskets.

📣 We Need Your Support – Help Our School Secure a Tesco Mobile Online Safety Grant!
Our school has applied for the Tesco Mobile Online Safety Grant, which provides funding to help primary schools improve online safety teaching and access essential digital equipment. Tesco Mobile is offering 100 grants of £1,000 and 5 larger grants of £20,000 to support schools across the UK in boosting online safety for children.
If successful, this grant will help us purchase replacement iPads and Chromebooks so our pupils can take part in high‑quality online safety lessons using up‑to‑date technology. These devices are eligible for funding under the grant and directly support safer, more effective digital learning.
Improving online safety has never been more important. Recent research supported by Tesco Mobile shows many children struggle to spot misinformation online, and teachers need the right tools to guide them confidently and safely through the digital world.
