I’m really enjoying experimenting with Duolingo - a totally different approach to language learning, which sits very well alongside in person lessons.

It would be an excellent tool to use over rhe summer break to maintain your level of French.

I’m am gradually reviving my rusty German 😊🇩🇪

I highly recommend the Oxfam bookshop in Matlock if you’re looking for French books to read. I volunteer there and we have a great selection!

Many of my students find it hard to retain French vocabulary, especially as they get older.
Memory anchoring can be a very effective way of overcoming this.

I am still buzzing from watching this amazing production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses with my students last night! It was absolutely superb. Highly recommended.
