This week, our youngest Nursery children visited Still Waters Dementia Café to play, sing, and chat with the attendees.

It was a truly special visit. One lady, who had never spoken or interacted during previous sessions, smiled and spoke as she played with the children – a lovely moment for everyone to witness.

The café is run by our very own Mrs Bullivant, our Speech and Language Teaching Assistant. It is a wonderful place, filled with kindness, warmth, and amazing people.

We are incredibly proud of the nursery children for bringing so much joy to others. They were exceptionally well behaved and fantastic ambassadors for St Anne’s! 💙💛

🧁☕️🍰 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Helpers' Tea Party. It was a pleasure to spend some time celebrating and thanking those who give so generously to our school community.🧁🍰☕️

We truly appreciate every one of you who goes above and beyond to help St Anne's thrive and support our children. Whether you volunteer on school trips, provide resources, help at special events, read, or offer your time in so many other ways, your kindness and commitment make a real difference. Your support enriches the experiences we are able to provide for our pupils, and we simply couldn't do it without you. On behalf of all the staff and children, thank you for everything you do. Your generosity, enthusiasm and dedication are valued more than words can say. We hope you enjoyed the afternoon.

⚽ Frank Soo Unveiling ⚽

Last Friday, some of our pupils had the privilege of representing St Anne’s at the unveiling commemorating Frank Soo on Lightwood Road.

The children were absolutely amazing and represented our school so well. They were respectful, interested and a real credit to St Anne’s throughout the event. We were incredibly proud of them all!

It was a very special event to be part of and a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn more about an important part of Buxton’s history. 😊

The whole school took part in a drowning prevention assembly on Monday. The session was engaging, informative and delivered such an important safety message to our pupils.

We were especially proud to hear that the visitor leading the assembly described our pupils' behaviour as the best he had experienced in any school he has visited!

Well done to all of our children for representing the school so positively and demonstrating excellent listening and respect throughout the assembly.

🌟 Fantastic Achievement Outside of School 🌟

Some of our wonderfully behaved St Anne’s children, who are part of the Beaver Scouts, had an amazing time at the District Scout Wallaboree at Gradbach alongside around 500 children from across the district!

They took part in a wide range of exciting activities (see photo), showing bravery when trying new things, excellent teamwork, problem-solving skills, and resilience throughout the day. Most importantly, they had lots of fun whilst developing valuable life skills! 🤩

We are incredibly proud of them all and the fantastic way they represented St Anne’s.
