Unfortunately it has been raining all night and doesn't look to stop until lunchtime. Sports day is cancelled, we can't sit on the grass in this wet and the it will be too slippery for racing. We will try again next Wednesday when according to BBC weather it will be 19 degrees and sunny. Everyone cross their fingers for a window of dry weather.

🪡🧵Hedgehogs have had a fabulous afternoon today doing our first DT sewing lesson! We learnt about the different parts of a needle, how to thread a needle and how to do a running stitch! 🏃 Miss Christie is super proud of the work produced for our first time sewing! 🧵🥹

Hedgehogs have had a VERY special day today celebrating David Attenborough’s 100th birthday after spending the last term learning about him for our history topic🎉🥳🎂🎈

We started our day by becoming party planners and planning our ideal party for David Attenborough (although I’m not sure if David Attenborough would be a big K-Pop or Taylor Swift fan despite our lovely party plans😂)

We then created our own animal masks using collage techniques 🦒🐘🦓🦏

We then spent the afternoon outdoors playing animal inspired games 🐒🐛🦎🐍
