A Final Message.

To all those who have walked through the doors of Dunluce School, either as a pupil or parent over the years, and to our wider school community.

Sadly, this is our final post, but hopefully it will bring back memories that will last for many years to come.

Best wishes from all the staff of Dunluce School, past and present.

Team Dunluce Take on the Giant’s Causeway Mighty Hike

This Saturday, a team of 10 staff members from Team Dunluce will be taking part in the Giant’s Causeway Mighty Hike in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The team will undertake a challenging 26-mile walk, starting at Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and finishing at Ulster University in Coleraine.

Team Dunluce would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported their fundraising efforts so far, whether through donations or by attending our coffee mornings. Your generosity, encouragement and support have played a significant role in helping us reach this milestone.

We are delighted to share that our fundraising total has now reached an incredible £5,537. This achievement would not have been possible without the kindness and support of our wider school community, family and friends.

Should anyone still wish to contribute, any donation would be greatly appreciated and will help support the invaluable work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support.

If you are in the area on Saturday, please come along and cheer the team on as they make their way along the route. Your support will undoubtedly provide a welcome boost during the challenge.

Thank you once again for your continued support and encouragement. We are immensely proud of what Team Dunluce has achieved so far and look forward to taking on this challenge together. 💚

🎶📖 A Night of Story and Song 🎶📖

On Friday evening, Dunluce opened its doors for a special Night of Story and Song. It was a fitting celebration of Dunluce School, bringing together past pupils who delivered exceptional musical performances and captivating stories shared by Mrs McIlveen.

The evening was filled with memories, music, and laughter, providing a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the rich history and community spirit of the school.

A sincere thank you to Mr Lutton for organising and hosting such an excellent evening, and to everyone who performed and attended. It was a truly memorable occasion and a perfect way to celebrate Dunluce School.

More to follow.

🚶‍♂️🏞️ The Final Causeway Ramble 🏞️🚶‍♀️

On Friday, we completed our final Causeway Ramble, bringing to a close an event that has been running annually for the past 22 years.

The Ramble proudly followed on from the original Tour de Causey, founded in 1983 by Richard Hobson. What began over four decades ago grew into a wonderful tradition, bringing people together, creating lasting friendships, and supporting an incredible cause.

Over the years, thanks to the generosity, commitment, and support of pupils and staff, we have raised an amazing £210,000 for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has taken part, helped behind the scenes, donated, or supported the event in any way throughout the years. Your contribution has made a real difference to so many lives.

While this chapter now comes to an end, the memories, friendships, and impact created by the Causeway Ramble will remain for many years to come.
