Purcell musicians were delighted to perform at the Last Night of the Proms at St Jude's on Sunday, 5 July, sharing the stage with the exceptional mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston.

Led by our Director of Music, Paul Hoskins, our students joined with the audience to create a joyful, celebratory finale filled with music and community spirit.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone at the Proms at St Jude's for this unforgettable opportunity. Even more special, the event raised funds for two wonderful charities: North London Hospice and Toynbee Hall.

On Monday, we welcomed Katy Jones, Principal Trombone of the Hallé, Senior Tutor at the RNCM and a Buteyko Breathing Practitioner.

Students took part in individual lessons, Brass Quintet coaching ahead of today's lunchtime concert at St Bride's Church, Fleet Street and a Buteyko Breathing workshop for the wind and brass department.

The Brass Quintet performs at St Bride's Church today at 1.15pm. All are welcome to attend.
