I have no availability for any new students just now but if you know someone who is struggling to get from a grade 3 to a grade 4 a little extra knowledge together with continuing exam paper practice could make the difference even now.

If you know someone who is struggling towards a grade 4 in GCSE maths please show them these revision cards and remind them that if they don't know this stuff before the exam they can't work it out during the exam.

One of my students was struggling with using tracing paper to find the centre of a 90 degree rotation. I came up with this method as an alternative.

Draw the black line to connect a matching pair vertices (corners).
Find its midpoint.
Draw the circle with centre the midpoint, through the vertices.
Draw a line perpendicular (at right angles) to the black line.
This last line meets the circle at the centre of the rotation.
