A big thank you to Tom at TMC Tree Surgery for delivering some lovely tree stumps for our magical garden at Little Holcombe...they will really help us create a lovely reading area for the children. Tom was really helpful and the children loved watching him xx

Tweenies at Little Holcombe visited the Art Gallery today and what a wonderful time they had ❤

To extend their current interest of transport, the children from Tweenies at Tower View took a little trip to the transport museum today. The children were very excited to travel on a bus and were all so well behaved the whole visit. I am sure you agree from the pictures, everyone had such an interesting and enjoyable afternoon 🚌🚂

After one of our friends from Pre-school brought in a homegrown courgette, it inspired lots of conversations about where different foods come from. After making courgette pizza and playing in our own grocery shop, we then found out that milk comes from cows. Expanding on this, we then made our very own butter by shaking cream and made our own bread too! Of course we had to sample our creations...delicious 😋

The children in 'Peelers Holiday Club' have enjoyed another fantastic session from Axes to Ashes with Andy. This week they used a variety of resources to create their very own bug hotels. 🐛🐞 This involved a lot of concentration and creativity. We are really looking forward to Animal tracking activities next week! 🐾

Thank you so much Axes to Ashes for such an exciting afternoon! The children in Peelers Holiday Club had a great time developing their co-ordination skills, working as a team and of course having fun in the child friendly axe throwing activity.
