This trilogy box set is a real doorstopper of a book, which also happens to be an awesome read about the possibilities of what happens when we die. Thought-provoking, full of adventure, and sure to have you on a rollercoaster of laughter and tears from start to finish.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Mary Powell for sending me a copy of her amazing book - "Blue and Gold: A Bullying Memoir." This honest and heartfelt memoir was a truly inspirational manuscript to work on, one to make you laugh and cry as Mary reveals the dark memories of her teenage years. Another one to add to the editing collection, and certainly one I can recommend as a great read 😊📚❤

I just finished reading the final copy for the first time and felt I had to write you even before I was able to start reviewing your notes and things. I am amazed at what you were able to do to enhance the story. You really were able to use what I had written and embellish it to bring to the surface many of the feelings I was hoping and trying to express. I truly feel you were able to take a story which before was one to be read and make it one to be felt as well.

Who would we run to if we learned our time was running out? How would we choose to spend our last moments?

These questions kept me reading straight through the book as I had to know what Phoenix would do and how she would answer them for herself. This novel was engrossing, beautiful, funny, and thought-provoking, and I can’t wait to read more by this author."

I've had the honour of proofreading and editing many fabulous pieces of work, from novel manuscripts and short stories to CVs and university dissertations, but I never thought I'd see the day when I would have the opportunity to proofread a pair of boots 😂
