Last week, the children arrived at preschool to discover something very strange… all of our dinosaurs had disappeared! 🦖🌴

The children soon found a mysterious message in a bottle from the dinosaurs explaining that they had gone to rescue their friend Tom, who was stranded on an island. Unfortunately, the dinosaurs had now become stuck themselves and needed rescuing too!

The children worked together brilliantly to plan a rescue mission. They came up with lots of fantastic ideas for different modes of transport including a hovercraft, bikes and even a hot air balloon! 🚲🎈🚤

Following clues along the way, the children climbed aboard their chosen transport and set off on their adventure. After lots of teamwork, problem solving and imagination, they successfully rescued the dinosaurs! 🌟

What an exciting week full of creativity, adventure and fun learning experiences!

Can’t wait for our preschoolers to play in our new dinosaur den role play area tomorrow .

children will become explorers and dinosaur hunters. Using natural materials (plants, sand, bones) and tools (tweezers, magnifiers, clipboards), children develop curiosity, language, and early scientific skills.

The den promotes:
• Communication & Language through discussion, storytelling, and recorded messages
• Physical Development via fine motor skills (tweezers, tools)
• PSED through sharing, confidence, and imaginative role play
• Literacy & Maths through mark making, counting, and sorting
• Understanding the World by exploring plants, fossils, and discovery
• Expressive Arts & Design through creative and imaginative play
