Today was a day full of laughter and play ❤️
We spent it at home in the Garden :)

Yesterday we spent the day at smithills farm 🚜
And what a beautiful day it was! The sun was shining ✨️
And we had so much fun, the little ones loved making the sounds of all the animals as we walked round, we had a scrumptious picnic and played in the play park's,
We went in the petting corner and got to hold baby chick's and 🐰 🐇

It's always great to see our friends and enjoy the wonderful and inviting set ups at Little Gems Parents & Tots - Bury

Yesterday the children independently chopped up there own strawberries for the pancakes 🥞 😋
Great for gross and fine motor skills 👌
And fun at the same time even the youngest one enjoyed them

Popoids are a great toy to play with. As they help develop both gross and fine motor skills, also three problem solving skills....

They get really creative to wich is fun as they show there little personality's through it and show how Amazing there little imaginations are ❤️

Our visits to the care home are always so special! This weeks theme was valentines and emotions, we read the color monster and sang loads of wonderful songs together ❤️
All the children made some beautiful crafts to give to them all

Its honestly beautiful to watch the little bonds created between the residents and the children and the happiness it brings to all

We visited Boomerang this week and the 3 little ones loved it ❤️

Sensory play in early years is a way for children to explore their senses through activities that stimulate their senses. It can help with brain development, language development, and social skills :)

Monday morning we visited a local softplay centre were we had loads of fun!
Softplay provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to develop crucial physical skills like gross motor coordination, balance, and dexterity, while also fostering social interaction, cognitive development, and emotional well-being through imaginative play and sensory exploration :)
