Even more so when the weather's nice amd the children explore water play

Were so fortunate to have beautifull fields on our doorstep! This day the we sat and read the story "were going on a bear hunt" 🐻

Then explored the fields
We couldn't go around it.......
We couldn't go over it......
So we had to go through it :)

On this day we went to a local park,
Were we walked and talked around the lake about the animals we seen and the types of fish that lived in the lake,
We had alot of fun playing in the playground,
Then we stopped for a snack in the green cafe before heading into there sensory garden to explore what's been planted and to see what was growing :)

The children have been baking cinnamon swirls this morning 😋

These activities were based around flowers, we read a couple books as to how they grow then decided on wanting to design our own,
The children used diffrent types or materials to create there very own beautiful flowers 💐

Playdough fun is a big hit at the moment with the children :) they love using items such as cars and animals to make tracks and footprints 👣

Playdough is great for early years development because it strengthens hand muscles for writing, aids sensory processing, fosters creativity, and provides a calming, therapeutic outlet for emotions :)

We took a trip out to Burrs country park one morning, the children love it here as they get to play and explore the country side, we fed some ducks and found the heron wich the locals have told us is named Henry :)
