And here they are, our brand new, baby ducklings. They will keep Mrs Wareing and Miss Ryan busy over the next few weeks!
Welcome little ones.

Well, that 6 weeks has flown by! We are excited to welcome the children back for a brand new academic year 2026-27 tomorrow, Thursday 3rd September.

There will be some new faces joining the school which is always wonderful to see. However, we did not account for the new arrivals that came early last week in the form of ducklings after Mummy Duck spent the weekend making her nest all cozy.

Mother duck and Daddy Duck are being very good parents. They have only allowed their babies to escape once ๐Ÿ™„ Now Miss Ryan and Mr Hunter have baby proofed the farm, all should be good.

CPD across the trust for our Keystage 2 staff with ICT with Mr P - Tech to Raise Standards. Can you spot Miss Diggle and Miss Catterall from lower key stage two? ๐Ÿ”Ž

Another great day at Whitefield Community Primary leading a lower and upper ks2 session for the local schools, exploring how technology can be used effectively to transform teaching and learning, adding a purpose to writing. I hope everyone found the training useful and have lots of new ideas to take back to class.

Visit MrPICT.com/CPD for more information on Mr Pโ€™s training.

We are set for another scorching weekend. With temperatures soaring it is all too tempting to swim in open water. Please consider the dangers of this before entering with children and look at our local leisure centres and safe spaces such as water parks instead.
Our children have all participated in water safety through the curriculum, additional activities, posters in school and discussions with the children.
If your child is of an age where they are allowed to play out unaccompanied by an adult, please make sure you have a chat with them beforehand about staying safe. Peer pressure is the main reason children end up entering open waters which are unsafe and without a lifeguard present.
