Full flexibility when choosing boys or girls, age group and when you would like to host!
You can choose to host for one week of the year or all year round.
Do you live within a 30 minute drive of Bury St. Edmunds?
If you live within a 30 minute walk the students can walk to school.
It doesn't matter if you you work full time as the students are at school all day 08:30-18:00 & On an excursion with us on Saturdays.
Pets are not a problem.
Tax free earnings up to £7500 per annum.
Host between 1-4 students per week.
The students can share a room as they are friends and from the same school.

BLS is currently welcoming new hosts on board. Our international students are so excited to visit Bury St Edmunds. Good hosts come in many forms (for example, you don't need to have children). We are looking for 5 new friendly hosts for April & May.

Hosts live in and around Bury St Edmunds (Sudbury, Stowmarket, Thetford, Brandon, Newmarket, Haverhill and villages inbetween).

It's not about the money BUT ... Hosts can earn £532.56 tax free for one week (4 students sharing)!

What does a host need to do?

* Welcome the students on arrival.
* Provide 2 simple meals and a packed lunch each day.
* The children are at school each day.
* Speak to the students in the evenings.
