Little Treasures has been providing excellent care for children since 2009, from ages 3 months to 5

We have an Ofsted GOOD rating, that showcases our commitment to high quality child care. We are a family owned and run business that treats your children as our own, leaving you safe in the knowledge your child is receiving the highest possible care. Our staff are highly trained and qualified to give the best care to your children, with two play rooms looking after children from 3 months to 5 year

s. Our garden is a jewel in our crown, a herb garden, sand pit and exceptional play facilities are just a few things we have. Winter is spent sloshing in the puddles in our wellies and summer with an ice-lolly enjoying the flowers. Please do call us or email us to come and visit us and see our pre-school for yourself.

Class of 2023 🎓

Thankyou to everyone who joined us today to celebrate the children’s graduation! The weather many not of been on side but the children still enjoyed themselves!

We wish the children all the best for their next venture!

Week commencing 22.5.23
The sun finally came to say hello so all of the rooms enjoyed making the most of it by exploring lots of activities in the garden. A small world car wash was thoroughly enjoyed. The little Seekers kept up with the gardening and helped look after the plants, and the Little explorers even went fishing (for ducks)!

We couldn't wait any longer to share more pictures of the fun we've been having! With a trip to the fire station and a visit from a paramedic!

The visits we have had over the past few weeks has had a really positive impact on the children's learning when in the setting. We are observing children taking part in lots of role play, this has been supported by ensuring children have plenty of resources to promote taking on different roles.

We have had such an amazing week! We have been lucky enough to have visits from a doctor, a nurse, a police officer and the Great Adventurers had a visit from a teacher at Great Heath Academy! All of the children enjoyed welcoming the visitors into the setting.

A look back at yet another brilliant week at Little Treasures!

The mini explorers learnt all about colours and really enjoyed taking part in roll painting.
The Little seekers room explored science and undertook many different experiments! One activity is on going as the children will monitor the growth of seeds planted.
The great adventurers got ready for a royal party at the end of the week by taking part in lots of craft activities including making decorations for the tea party they enjoyed in celebration of the kings coronation.

We have been very busy at Little Treasures and apologise for how quiet we have been on here! Here are some photos of the fun we had last week!
Mini explorers enjoyed learning all about mini beasts and took their learning into the outdoors.
Little Seekers explored colours and shapes within the environment, one of their favourite activities was to explore colour mixing!
Great Adventurers focused on the topic 'All about me' where they created models of themselves whilst talking about similarities and differences between one another.

The children have had a fantastic couple of weeks, and we are making the most of the lovely weather!

Thank you all for the wonderful Easter bonnets you created with your children for our competition. They were all fantastic, making choosing a winner so much more difficult!

The staff all voted for their favourite bonnet in each room and the children with the most votes won. Congratulations to the winners and well done to all the children who took part.

Have a Happy Easter and we'll see you again on the 25th.

Week commencing the 21st March.

This week the setting enjoyed a beautiful week in the sunshine!

The great adventures explored their Personal, Social and emotional development which involved lots of team building activities.

The Little Seekers explored the topic 'Welcoming Spring' which fitted perfectly with the weather.

The Mini Explorers room continued to build upon communication skills, new Makaton was introduced along with new words and support of descriptive language through the use of play.
