Soil to Feast year 1 last weekend. What a blast! Soil discovery. Field exploring. Kitchen camaraderie. Chatting and feasting ! Thank you to everyone who helped so wholeheartedly to make it happen and thanks to all those of you who came for your buckets of curiosity, enthusiasm and Bonne Amie ! Definately do that again! After quite some preparations we are SOLD OUT and looking forward to the first ever Soil To Feast at Shimpling tomorrow! And I think we’ve created some of the prettiest hand wash stations ever!

Only 6 more sleeps until Soil to Feast at Shimpling ! Excitement building here - if you have the faintest curiosity about soil, food or farming or want to learn some new receipes with delicious local food this will be a great way the spend an afternoon. have their scientists on hand with microscopes ready .pawsey and planning games in the agroforestry rotation and are ready to cook. As a former WW2 American airbase annually we gather in our fields now full of the song of skylarks to read slowly through the names of the young air men who died flying from here. Our freedom was not free.
