We have had the most wonderful return to school. The children have been excited to see and play with their friends and they have settled into their new classes beautifully. We are all so impressed by our new students-especially our new Lime Class children- who have already become part of our Cockfield family. Staff were in school on Tuesday and Wednesday planning and preparing for the new school year.
Top of the agenda was organising trips and visits for the year ahead. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Good morning.

We had a great week last week. It was lovely to see so many of you at the Village Fair and our little choir impressed everyone. Maybe we will perform 2 songs next year.

We have Moving Up morning tomorrow.
Please can pupils line up with in their new class spaces in the morning. We will be back in our normal classes in the afternoon so pick up will be as normal.

See you later 👋

This week in school we were privileged to see the children’s resilience. We played inside at lunchtime and drank a lot of water. Learning took place at a gentle pace and we enjoyed regular breaks.

I would like to thank all of the parents for providing hats, suncream and water bottles.

Special thanks to the staff for remaining cheerful and professional. Especially Laura & Denise in the kitchen; cooking and providing hot meals for us, for CATEY preschool and for Great Welnetham!

I hope to see you all at the village fair on Sunday 😊

Please check your emails to see a message from Mr. Gilbert.
We are offering parents the option of collecting children from 1:30pm tomorrow. There is no expectation to do so and staff will remain on site to ensure that all children are safe and well cared for.

Thank you

Phew! What a busy week! Year 5&6 had an absolutely amazing time at Norfolk Lakes this week. Year 4 are creating some fabulous Lighthouses in DT. Oak class are writing all about wolves and their knowledge is astonishing. Lime class have been making the most of their outside area.

The new toys on the playground trolley are being used and shared beautifully. We have seen some super creative play and collaboration.
