FAQ Series #7: What's the difference between a business coach and a business consultant?

It's a question we get asked often, and the answer matters if you're deciding where to invest your time.

A consultant is usually brought in to solve a specific problem. They analyse, recommend a solution, and will often implement it for you too. A business coach works alongside you over the longer term. Rather than doing the work for you, we help you and your team build the skills, structure and accountability to solve problems yourselves, again and again.

Both have their place. But if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like the business is too dependent on you, coaching is worth exploring.
