🖍️✨ Mark Making Fun: Following the Lines to the Alphabet! 🔤✏️

This morning, the children spent lots of time engaged in mark making, carefully following the lines to form letters of the alphabet! 💫

They explored different types of lines – straight, curved, wavy and zigzag – building the foundation for confident writing.

This activity supported key areas of the EYFS:

🧠 Physical Development – strengthening fine motor skills and pencil control
📚 Literacy – beginning to recognise and form letters
🗣️ Communication and Language – chatting about letter sounds and shapes
🎨 Expressive Arts and Design – expressing themselves through marks and patterns

It’s been a wonderful morning of focused fun, early writing skills, and growing independence. 🌟

I’m thrilled to announce that in the new year, I’ll be relocating to Mildenhall and am now welcoming new clients! If you’re looking for quality care and a welcoming space for your little ones (18 months and up), I’d love to help!

I am incredibly proud of myself and my achievements! 🎉 Today, I received my certificate through the post, a testament to all the hard work and dedication I put in. I spent countless evenings and weekends studying, and many late nights completing my coursework. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. Spending time on my phone turned out to be productive after all! Here's to reaching goals and making dreams come true. 💪📜

Today at Jessica’s Little Butterflies, we had a wonderful time making Father’s Day pictures for the children to give to their dads! 🎨👨‍👧‍👦

Through this activity, the children engaged in several key areas of learning from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS):

🖌️ Expressive Arts and Design: The kids explored different materials and techniques to create their unique Father’s Day artwork.
📚 Literacy: They practiced their writing skills by adding special messages to their pictures.
🤝 Personal, Social, and Emotional Development: This activity helped the children understand the importance of showing appreciation and love towards their family members.
🧠 Communication and Language: As they described their artwork and talked about their dads, they developed their speaking and listening skills.

We’re so proud of their creativity and the beautiful pictures they made. We hope all the dads love their special Father’s Day surprises! ❤️

Dear Parents,
I am thrilled to announce that I will be resuming my childminding services starting this May! I have been slowly getting back to work by looking after a little one one day a week in April, but I am now ready to offer full services from May onwards.
🕒 **Availability:** Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
💰 **Accepting Funding:** I am pleased to let you know that I will be accepting funding for eligible children.

Sorry I have not been active but

You will be glad to know I am now signed up for funding so can accept that.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to inform you that due to Hollie's current health condition, I will be delayed in returning to work. I won't be able to resume work immediately. Hollie is unwell at the moment, and my focus is on supporting her at home until she gets better and we establish a good routine.
