Please remember to add your own child’s name to any preloved uniform you buy, so it can be returned to the correct child if it gets lost!

Summer Wardrobe Clear Out

Be honest...have you opened the uniform drawer and wondered when everything got so tiny?

Summer holidays are the perfect time for a little wardrobe clear out! If you've got outgrown school uniform that's still in great condition, we'd love to give it a second life.

FRESch are gratefully accepting donations over the holidays. Just send us a message or pop us an email and we'll let you know where you can drop them off.

Help us turn "too small" into "just right" for another family this September.

What an emotional week! Saying goodbye to our Year 6 students and also the end of an era for some families that have had multiple children grow at Elmswell. We will miss you all and wish you well for your futures. We had a wonderful outdoor assembly to say goodbye to Mrs Sturman and Mr Moodie with songs, poems and speeches. (A few tears were discreetly wiped away by staff members 😢) But mainly, we would like to say thank you for the amazing presents and the cards that had lovely words of appreciation in. We really are very grateful. Have a great summer and we will see you all in September. 😄

Thank you to our wonderful Fresch - Friends of Elmswell School for today's Summer Fayre. A lot of very hard work, from a small group of parents, went on leading up to a lovely afternoon. Every penny raised goes back into the school, helping with much needed resources for classrooms and the outside areas to help enrich your childs primary school experience. Also thanks to Mr Ratcliffe and all the staff that stayed to help and enjoyed the fun. Same time next year? 😀

Before we start thanking everyone who made today possible (and there are so many people to thank!), I want to say the biggest thank you to our children.

They are our reason. ❤️

Everything we do is for them. We want them to have the very best memories of their primary school years and all the extra opportunities that fundraising makes possible.

Today, while we were busy making the fayre happen, we didn't get to walk around with our own children. We missed that. Our families and friends made sure they had the best afternoon, and we're so grateful for all the love and support they've given us over the last few weeks while we've been planning.

Tonight, my daughter made me cry. She said, "I'm proud of you, Mama. Thank you. That was the best end-of-year fayre I could ever have had."

Thank you to all of our children. This is why we do it. ❤️

Thank you for all the lovely messages of support and understanding we received last week regarding the extreme weather situation. It is going to continue to be warm so sun hats, cream and water bottles are still needed.
A reminder that we are having class photographs taken tomorrow (Monday) morning. Full school uniform please. PE kits for lessons or clubs to be brought in for pupils to change into afterwards. 📸

We have the Fresch - Friends of Elmswell School Summer Fayre on Friday. Order your tokens on the Arbor app in 'Shop' as stated below. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.
Dinners are on Week Two.

In advance- 12 tokens - £5
On the day- 10 tokens - £5 or 50p each

You will need tokens for everything at the Fayre- we will only accept ‘money’ for food items.

So lovely to see the Year 3 Father figures having breakfast with their children today. A great turn out with 70 people enjoying Pan au Chocolats, cereal and juice. Thank you for the round of applause for the staff
that set up and served, it was really appreciated 😁

Temperatures have soared this week, please do send your children in with hats, water bottles and sun cream applied as the weather warms up.
Thank you to our wonderful PTA for the fabulous Someone Special gifts – we wish all the dads, grandads, uncles, step dads and all those who take on the role a very happy Fathers’ Day.
Looking forward to to welcoming parents in to school for Fathers' Day breakfast for Year 3 tomorrow at 8.10am and the remaining Curiosity Cafès over the week.

Dinners will be on week 1 of the summer menu.
