Humpty Dumpty Day Nursery and Pre-School Yoxall

The World cup has begun, and Preschool has been full of energy during National School Sports Week! They started each morning with fun filled morning jog, followed by lots fun sporting activities. What a fantastic way to start each day!

Last week our Kingfishers have loved exploring emotions through self portrait and different facial expressions. A love activity to support confidence, communication and emotional development.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures! Today we’re celebrating all the love,laughter, support and special moments you bring every day. Wishing you day filled with smiles, appreciation and a little bit of fun - just like Humpty Dumpty! 🎉💙

Last week we were able to celebrate with our daddy’s (or grandads) at our Father’s Day event. It may have rained during the event but everyone was in high spirits and enjoyed some brief moments of sunshine ☀️

Our preschoolers have been learning all about caring for their pets and had great fun treating them to a salon day

Our penguins had a fab time strawberry picking last week and may have had chance try one or two 🙊

💙 Drowning Prevention Week 💙

This week, we are supporting Drowning Prevention Week and helping to raise awareness of water safety for young children and families.

Drowning can happen quickly and silently, even in shallow water. Whether you're at the beach, a swimming pool, a paddling pool, or near ponds and rivers, close supervision is essential.

Top water safety reminders:

*Always keep children within arm’s reach near water.
*Ensure children are supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
*Teach children basic water safety skills from an early age.
*Avoid distractions such as mobile phones when supervising children around water.
*Learn what to do in an emergency and how to call for help.

As we head into the warmer months, let's work together to keep every child safe around water.

The nursery had a wonderful time celebrating World Ocean Day last week, making fantastic crafts and bringing lots of creative ideas to life.
