β οΈ Important Safety Reminder for Families β οΈ
We would like to make parents and carers aware of a dangerous social media trend involving βsquishyβ stress toys and microwaves.
Recent reports have highlighted that some children have been seriously injured after heating these toys in microwaves and then squeezing them, causing hot contents to burst out and result in painful burns.
Please remind children:
Never to microwave or heat stress toys or squishies
Not to copy online challenges or trends without checking with a trusted adult
To tell an adult immediately if a toy becomes damaged, leaks, or feels unusually hot
Many of these toys are not designed to be heated and can become extremely dangerous very quickly. Safety experts have warned that heated toys may burst and cause serious injuries.
Thank you for helping us keep all children safe both in and out of school.

π Request for Sponsorship β Childrenβs Sun Hats π
We are reaching out to our wonderful community to see if any local businesses or contacts would be interested in sponsoring sun hats for our pupils this summer.
Our aim is to provide every child with a school sun hat to keep them safe in the sunshine while also promoting pride in our school uniform.
There are a number of ways you could support:
β’ Full sponsorship of the hats
β’ A financial contribution towards purchasing and embroidery
β’ Partial sponsorship to help us reach our goal
In return, we would love to recognise and promote your support across our school and social media platforms.
If you or someone you know may be interested, please get in touch with the school office and ask for Miss Swain.
Thank you for helping us keep our children safe, comfortable, and proud of their school this summer βοΈ
