Learning through play- EYFS, Schema, Skills for life and Activities (music and dance, crafts, creativity, developing imaginations, joint sustained thinking, storytelling and drama). Positive Self-Esteem- Attachment, Confidence, Self-Worth and Unconditional Positive regard. Positive thinking- Can achieve and Will achieve, Problem solving and Creative / Divergent thinking. Emotional Intelligence- Recognising Emotions, Using Emotions, Understanding Emotions, Managing Emotions and Dealing with Anxiety. These Six identified areas will be incorporated throughout our practices intrinsic linking these in with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS sets the standards that all early years’ providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. Within this Framework there are seven early learning goals:

Understanding of the world

For parents/carers to fully understand these areas of learning we will work in partnership with them so their child’s targets can be achieved both at home and within our setting.
