Every day is an adventure in building independence and confidence at Little Monsters.

Here are ways of how we practice essential life skills:

Self-Care & Healthy Habits ~ Our children take pride in nourishing and caring for themselves. They practice feeding themselves, pouring their own drinks, and safely cutting up fruits and vegetables. They are also masters of hygiene, confidently washing their hands and learning empathy by bathing dolls during self-care play.

Responsibility & Choices ~ We love boosting confidence by naming a daily 'Happy Helper' to take on special tasks around the room! The children also practice making real-world decisions and managing money concepts while role-playing at our supermarket shop.

Fine Motor & Creativity ~ From planting seeds in our garden to mastering scissor control through fun craft projects, those little hand muscles are working hard every day.

Community & Kindness ~ Learning isn't just about independence; it is also about connection. We love watching the children build literacy and bonding skills by reading stories to one another.

🌟 OTTILIE'S FUNDRAISER 🌟

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our fundraiser for Ottilie was a huge success. The atmosphere was brilliant from start to finish, and the support from our families, staff, and wider community was truly overwhelming.

Thanks to everyone who donated, joined in, baked, volunteered, and cheered us on, we raised an amazing amount and created such a positive buzz around the nursery. Every contribution—big or small—made a real difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

The children had a fantastic time, the activities were enjoyed by all, and the sense of community spirit was stronger than ever. We’re so proud of what we achieved together.

Thank you for helping us make it such a memorable and successful event.

We are SO close to hitting £1000 mark so are offering last minute raffle tickets if anyone would like to purchase any. Tickets will be on sale at £1 per strip and entry's will close at 5:30pm tomorrow. I will draw the raffle first thing Wednesday morning and contact our winners! 🐯INTERNATIONAL TIGER DAY🐯

We have had the best time celebrating International Tiger Day.

Look at what our busy tigers got up to:

~Tiger Yoga: We stretched tall and practiced moving like quiet jungle cats. 🐯
~Small World Play: Our mini explorers created their own wild jungle habitats. 🌿
~Creative Crafts: We practiced our fine motor skills by cutting out tiger stripes. ✂️
~Messy Painting: We used bright colours to paint our very own tiger patterns. 🎨
~Sensory Tray: We explored different textures in our jungle-themed sensory trays. 🌾

🎓 GRADUATION 2026 🎓

Last week we celebrated every smile, every milestone, every brave moment, and every bit of hard work that has brought our children to this point. They have grown in confidence, curiosity, and kindness — and we could not be prouder of each and every one of them.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff team. Your dedication, patience, creativity, and love shape the magic of our nursery every single day. You give our children the strongest foundations, and last weeks celebration is a reflection of your commitment.

To our families — thank you for trusting us with your little ones. What a joy it has been to watch them shine.
