A beautiful morning in celebration at St.Joseph the worker church with the children and their families as they received the sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time. Thanks to all who supported 🙏❤️

An ex-pupil who has worked at Holy Rosary Catholic Voluntary Academy for over 30 years is looking forward to taking part in the school’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
The primary school, in Burton, will be marking the historic occasion with a tea party for parents, staff and pupils on July 2, followed by Mass celebrated by the Bishop of Nottingham.

A beautiful Celebration of Word today as we returned to the new term in the hope of the risen Lord🙏

Much fun had with children guessing who they had chosen to dress up as today.

The word for the week is: FASTING.

Fasting can be about more than giving up food or drink during Lent. Today in our Celebration of the Word we talked about fasting from anger, worry, resentment and other emotions that can steal our joy.

Pupils who follow The Holy Rosary Way understand that even the smallest actions reflect who we are. Every choice we make around school shows pride, respect and care for our community.

Our seven character behaviours, inspired by Commando Joe's, have become a powerful part of our culture, helping our children to develop the resilience, confidence and teamwork they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

The word of the week is: PRAYER 🙏  Today in our celebration of the word we reflected on the many ways we can pray. MISSION: Take a moment this week to pray think about what you want to say to God and what he might be saying to you
