National Thank a Teacher UK Day:
To close our postcard series, we’re sharing one final message of thanks from another one of our trainees to the teacher who helped shape their journey into teaching.
💌 Dear Mrs Marsden,
Thank you for being my cheerleader, not just within your subject and your class but also throughout my school journey. I truly appreciate the time and effort you took into making sure that I succeed.
The support you gave me was always above and beyond. You would stay after school every week until 5pm to help me with 1-1 interventions when you could’ve been at home enjoying that time to yourself. Those moments showed me you truly cared about me, and I’ll never forget that.
As a soon-to-be ECT, I now have a greater appreciation for the dedication and commitment that you provided towards me, and I hope I can use that to also have a lasting impact throughout my career too.
From Emma 💙
Thank you to all the teachers who inspire moments like this every day.

National Thank a Teacher UK Day:
Next in our series, we’re sharing a message from Desni to Mrs Baker:
💌 Dear Mrs Baker,
I would like to thank you, as you were a huge support to me.
I was very shy and you gave me so many opportunities to come out of my shell.
Without your guidance, it’s unlikely that I would be training to be a teacher today.
You inspire me to bring some energy and fun into my classroom.
From Desni 🧡

National Thank a Teacher UK Day:
Next in our series, we’re sharing a heartfelt message from Megan to Miss Erdagon:
💌 Dear Miss Erdagon,
Thank you for always believing in me, even when I didn't believe in myself.
Whenever I was struggling in class, you only ever asked me to try my best: You celebrated with me when I understood, and supported me when I didn't.
Your kindness inspired me to have a little more faith in myself and taught me that the best thing I can do is try my best.
From Megan 💚

Today, we’re celebrating the teachers who inspire confidence, spark curiosity and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people.
To mark the occasion, we’re sharing messages from our trainees to the teachers who helped shape their journeys and inspired them to pursue a career in teaching.
Our first thank you comes from Marium to Miss Spooner:
💌 Dear Miss Spooner,
Thank you for being one of the teachers who truly made a difference in my life.
In Year 5, you inspired me, supported me and helped shape my decision to become a teacher.
Your kindness, encouragement and belief showed me the impact a teacher can have, and inspired my passion to do the same for children.
From Marium 💙
