That's another student passed GCSE maths and over the moon to pass in her college year. I may not always be always popular with students when I get them to complete work with me and then work on tasks in active work. I don't give a lecture - its all about working in the lesson and getting out that calculator and getting long term memory ingrained with 'doing maths', repetition and checking on gaps in knowledge.
Heard from 3 students so far, all passed their GCSE's, so pleased that they can now continue growing and learning. So pleased for them.

Student asked me yesterday how to cube root without a calculator. Decided to create some worksheets to help them next lesson and others, for non calc work. My nerdy self was very happy to get immersed in this topic.

Now using Bitpaper for maths lessons! A new learning curve, but much more interactive than Zoom.
When a student shouts your name in town and runs up telling you she's passed her Higher GCSE Maths it makes me so happy. She said thank you and that what makes me keep going tutoring.

This text had me in tears this morning. I was too overwhelmed to reply much more than thank you.

I'm so pleased my own studying has finished with my last unit of the Mental Health Awareness course. It has helped remind me what my students go through when going through their studies!
