What a superb Enterprise Day we had today! The children were amazing and fully enjoyed this! 👌

Next week is Yr 5 Rowan class turn in the forest (Monday 15th June - Thursday 18th June. Please could we ask that you send your child wearing clothes that are suitable for outdoors (NO SHORTS regardless of the weather).It is essential for your child/ren to come to school in normal foot wear and bring in some strong boots or wellies in a carrier bag with their names written inside them. Please could you also ensure that children do come to school with a waterproof coat even if the sun is shining in the morning as the weather here can be unpredictable . Parents are welcome to join us on Thursday at 2.30pm to join in with your child/ren activity. (Weather permitting).

Aspen class in the forest this week have had a very damp week learning about Biomes and Environmental Regions. Our focus was North America where children put up miniature tee pees, setting up camp remembering the important skills they have learnt previously: camp gadgets, knots, firelighting, and making the tallest flag pole that can be seen above the trees.

Maple class in the forest this week have had a fantastic time getting their fingers green learning where our food comes from before ending up on our dinner plates. The children have taken part in a hunt looking for cuts of meat (In writing lol) and working out which animal it comes from. Also making miniature allotments, visiting Winshill allotments to get a better understanding. Taking part in team games and planting seeds to grow at home.
