We currently have a good supply of eggs which are available everyday to purchase at the end of the school day.

Elder have had a fantastic time at ThinkTank today, learning all about the science of the past, present and future. They especially loved their workshop, where we learnt about a state of matter between liquid and solid and then investigated it by making slime. 🥼🧑‍🔬👩‍🔬

Subject: Extreme heat measures - EHA

Good afternoon all,

As temperatures are forecast to exceed 30°C on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, please see the following measure we will put in place:

-Children are required to bring a sun hat and should apply sun cream before arriving at school
-All children must have a water bottle in school to support hydration
-Classroom fans will be used in classes where appropriate
-Additional water breaks will be provided as needed
-Children will be encouraged to remain in shaded areas during break and lunchtime
-Children may wear PE kits for the remainder of the week if they prefer
-Adjustments to PE lessons may be made, including increased use of shaded areas, reduced activity levels or alternative classroom-based activities where required

We hope these measures will help make conditions in school more comfortable during the period of high temperatures over the next three days.

Amazing learning and presentation from Kianah today! ✍🏼

Last week in the forest Rowan class, learning about different Biomes and Environmental Regions, focusing on North America in the rain forest. Children set camp up using tee pees , building camp gadgets, fire lighting and many team games. Another fantastic week.

A massive thank you to everyone who came to the Edge Hill and Violet Way Summer Fayre last night. What a superb event! A massive thanks to the PTA for organising this! Have a great weekend all 👍☺️
