We work closely with The John Taylor SCITT to offer high quality placements here at St Modwen's. Did you know there is now an enhanced SEND pathway for teacher training? We would be very keen to support a trainee looking to follow this training route.

This Primary (5-11) SEND Enhancement programme has been carefully designed to prepare trainees to work confidently and effectively with pupils with special educational needs across the primary age range. It builds on our established ITT curriculum, with an enhanced focus on inclusive practice, adaptive teaching, and meeting the needs of all learners in both mainstream and specialist settings. Some of our year 3 and 4 girls have spent the day at St George’s park at the biggest girls football event! They spent the morning busy with lots of different games and football activities and took part in a competition in the afternoon. They have all had a fantastic day playing football in the sunshine!
