Behind every roof, there's a story worth telling, and over the years we've supported Blue Forest to gather many by providing them with building materials for their popular treehouses.
It is almost a yearly tradition for us to send them our timber shingles and see their craftsmanship bloom at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, but this time they've surprised us with a hidden treasure in the heart of London, the Lost Oasis.
The temporary installation embodies its name perfectly as it is, almost like a mirage, both a refuge from the urban concrete landscape and a place which delights its visitors with a welcoming atmosphere, award-winning cuisine, live music and cold refreshments.
We were pleased to see our Western Red Cedar Shingles being used so skilfully, allowing them to lend their natural and warm character to the building's aesthetic whilst also being a lighter, lower-carbon roofing option compared to other materials.

Marley is proud to support the NFRC's Cut the Dust campaign.
Cutting roof tiles can create harmful silica dust, and breathing it in may cause serious long-term health problems.
The campaign aims to help the roofing industry take simple steps to work more safely on site, including the use of water suppression when cutting tiles, wearing an FFP3 mask, and using wet clean-up methods.

Lower carbon claims only matter if they come with evidence.
With Edgemere 2.0, CO2 from cement production is captured at source, permanently stored beneath the seabed, and the carbon saving is then recorded in the Carbon Bank and allocated to specific orders.
That is what gives customers a clearer chain of evidence, supported by Carbon Bank traceability.
You can bank on it.

Marley's Lincoln Clay Pantiles in rustic red achieved both, seamlessly blending with the conservation village's character.
