Vacancies at Star Foundation DRIVER 30 hours a week,
Mon – Fri or Tues-Sat £20,820 p/a £11.44 per hour,
permanent contract Immediate start available.
Star Foundation currently have an opportunity for a Driver looking to make a genuine difference to their community by collecting from recycling centres and charity shops around Midlands area, items to be collected are textiles and books, .
The ideal candidate will have good driving experience, be aged 24 or over, have a clean driving licence, and have experience of van driving. As a driver you are an essential part of the charity’s recycling function, the role will require you to lift and carry donated items, and will have a ‘can do’ approach to life.
Supported by a Drivers Mate when required, the Driver will work from our Burton on Trent store on Derby Road, visiting upto 3 recycling centres which does involve lifting and carrying can be quite physical but very varied, the job will be very varied, representing Star Foundation to customers, completing basic paperwork to ensure health & safety and quality compliance, and helping to keep a van clean & maintained.
