REAch2 Academy Trust

REAch2 Academy Trust REAch2 is the UK’s largest primary-only trust with 65 schools. Dedicated to nurturing potential and 'Always Aiming Higher.'

Founded in 2012, REAch2 Academy Trust is the largest primary-only academy trust in the country. We are a growing charitable organisation currently supporting some 60 primary academies across England. These are challenging times, and for our children we believe that their first school experience is the start of a very important journey, which should enable them to broaden their horizons, be confident in their abilities and help shape their future lives. Our primary focus is to ensure that all our pupils are provided with the right educational environment which not only inspires them to embrace learning and develop creativity - but also to have fun, make friends, respect individuality and ultimately to reach their full potential. The Cornerstone of REAch2 is a solid, unshakable foundation, defined by exceptional teaching experiences and shared Touchstone values of learning, leadership, enjoyment, inclusion, inspiration, responsibility and integrity. These values are at the very core of the Trust, firmly embedded in all of our academies and embraced by our leaders, teachers, staff, parents and children alike. Strong family values are a key component of the REAch2 vision. We believe that REAch2 is a family: connected by a common desire to learn from each other, share experiences and be mutually supportive across the entire academy community. Every school and every individual is included in this vision. We actively encourage collaboration - and work as a team to create and deliver the best possible educational experiences for every pupil within the REAch2 Trust. Acceptable Use:

A cup of coffee, a slice of cake and an opportunity to support an important cause. ☕🍰

Last Friday, families and staff at Aqueduct Primary Academy gathered for a Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising funds to support people living with cancer.

What a wonderful show of support from the school community. 💚

🐑🐴 Cradle to Career in Action at Copperfield Academy! 🐴🐑

What a fantastic afternoon our children had meeting sheep and ponies from KASBAH Charity Princess Christian's Farm! 🐑🌿🐴

This special visit was a reward for our pupils following an outstanding start to the academic year, with the academy achieving over 97% attendance during the first week of term. The smiles, excitement and memorable experiences shared by the children made the celebration truly worthwhile.

However, this visit was about much more than attendance. It perfectly captured what our Cradle to Career programme is all about: enabling incredible people, organisations and opportunities that already exist within our local community to connect and open opportunities.

Through our partnership with KASBAH Charity Kent, children not only enjoyed a unique hands-on experience with farm animals but also gained an understanding of the important role charities play in supporting individuals and strengthening communities. In return, partnerships like this help raise awareness of the fantastic support and opportunities available locally.

At Copperfield Academy, our Cradle to Career approach brings together charities, employers, community groups, local authorities, nurseries, secondary schools and support services to create a network of support that helps children and families thrive from early childhood through to adulthood. This post is our introduction to our Cradel to Career programme - there is much, much more to come!

A huge thank you to everyone at KASBAH Charity Kent and Princess Christian Farm for making the afternoon so special. We are excited to continue developing opportunities that enrich our curriculum, strengthen community connections and inspire our children to aspire, achieve and contribute positively to the world around them.

As comes to a close, we’re celebrating one of our own young recycling champions! ♻️🌱

A huge congratulations to Rory from Oakfield Primary Academy - Rugby , who was nominated by his mum for the Young Hero Award at the BBC Make a Difference Awards.

Now in Year 2, Rory has been part of the school since Nursery. He regularly collects cans, bottles and paper because he wants to help keep his local area clean and tidy.

He attended the awards ceremony at Coventry University with his parents, Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher. Looking like a young James Bond in his tuxedo, he proudly received a finalist’s trophy and a teddy bear named Lulu, who was wearing his bow tie by the end of the evening!

The school also received a sapling to plant in his honour, perfectly reflecting its motto: “Planting seeds, promoting growth.”We’re all incredibly proud of you, Rory! 💙

We’re so pleased to see the amazing things our schools have been getting up to during their first week back! 🌟

From sleeping under the stars as part of 11 Before 11, Apley Wood Primary Academy has certainly started the new term with plenty of excitement as Mrs Smith, Headteacher, welcomed new Reception children by sharing a story and the opening of a brand-new library, there's been plenty to celebrate.

Elsewhere, pupils have been enjoying their new outdoor area for football and play equipment at Martlesham Primary Academy, while Aqueduct Primary Academy held a very special STEM Day. RAF Shawbury landed a helicopter on the school field, giving children real-life inspiration for this year’s theme of flight and the opportunity to learn how helicopters work. 🚁

The new term may only just have begun, but our schools are already creating exceptional opportunities for children to learn, explore and be inspired.

Always Aiming Higher from the very first week.

🌳🍂 What an amazing first Welly Wednesday of the year in Nursery! 🍂🌳

Our Nursery children had a fantastic time exploring our Forest School environment. They searched for crunchy leaves, collected long sticks and began learning our important Forest School rules.

The children showed great bravery as they climbed the tall trees and demonstrated wonderful curiosity while searching for our Forest School Fairies! 🧚✨

It was a joy to see so much adventure, exploration and confidence on display. Well done, Nursery, on a brilliant first Welly Wednesday! 👏💚🌿

Have you ever wondered what goes on inside the Houses of Parliament? Come with us and take a look… 👀

We’re looking back on one of the highlights of the academic year, as twenty pupils from REAch2 schools across the country travelled to London for Pupil Parliament.

Stepping inside Parliament, they took their seats ready to debate a question that affects children every day:

“Is technology, like AI and social media, always helpful for children?”

Chaired by Dave Robertson MP for Lichfield, Burntwood and the Villages, the debate was lively, thoughtful and full of brilliant ideas.

The children explored both sides of the argument, listened carefully to different views and spoke with real courage and confidence. There may have been a few nerves at first, but every pupil stood up, spoke clearly and made sure their voice was heard.

Pupil Parliament is about much more than one debate. It gives children opportunities to broaden their horizons, experience new places and recognise that their ideas matter.

We’re incredibly proud of every pupil who took part and represented their school and the Trust so brilliantly. 🗣️❤️

Come with us as we look back on a very special day.
