The Nest had a lot of fun making playdough this afternoon! It’s amazing how many areas of learning are covered through this simple task that they can all help with. Developing friendships, developing fine motor skills and Mathematical thinking and language through measuring and filling.

Staff have been busy preparing for the new term! We are so looking forward to welcoming the children back to school on Thursday 3rd September.
School will be open from 2.30-3pm tomorrow (Wednesday 2nd) to families should your child need to refamiliarise themselves with their (new) classroom and staff.

This morning was the final running club of the year. Thank you to Suzie and Fliss for making running club possible and for giving up their time to lead the club. Well done to the runners for their amazing energy and motivation!

Our Year 6s ahead of their leavers' service this afternoon.
It was wonderful to hear their favourite memories, their greatest achievements and their ambitions for the future. We will be sad to say goodbye to them on Wednesday but we wish them lots of luck as they move to their secondary schools.

What a fabulous afternoon everyone had at Party in the Park yesterday afternoon! It was great to see people dancing to Shelby's Elbows! Our youngest learners in the Nest celebrated the end of a fabulous year with their very own ‘Nestival’. There was live music thanks to Messy Paws and we all had the best day! If you are looking for a preschool/Reception place for your child then come and visit our small but mighty school. The Nest is the place to be 🪹 ✨

Sports Day was a wonderful success on Wednesday afternoon. It was lovely to see the older pupils supporting our younger pupils. Thank you to everyone who came to support the event and to the Friends of Burton Bradstock School for the refreshments and ice lollies.
