Hi, everyone.

It's with a heavy heart I have to tell you that Midlands Drum Academy won't be continuing for the new year and drum lessons are being suspended.

There are lots of reasons for it, and a lot of pressures and pains to keep going with the lessons but I'm afraid it is no longer viable.

Any bookings will be refunded and the booking system will be disabled.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for everyone who came for their lessons and have made fantastic progress. I hope that you keep it up and I look forward to hearing about your musical, rhythmic journeys.

1) Choose the lesson length
2) Choose your slot
3) For a 1 hour lesson, there's a £15 deposit and the £15 difference paid on the day.
4) For a 1/2 hour lesson, it's paid in full on the website now.

🎁🎁It might be that time of year where Santa brings someone in your family a drum kit 😉

Here's some hints and tips to tell him if it's your first kit:-
1) You can often get a full setup as a bundle through Facebook marketplace for second hand kits at great prices between £50 -200.
2) A new, or nearly new beginner kit such as 'CB Drums' is about £200-250.
3) Your first kit should include all the things shown in the photo which are
a) 3 Toms
b) A bass drum
c) Snare drum
d) Hi-hats
e) At least one cymbal.
f) A kick pedal and seat (called a throne)

4) Here is a kit below which was listed for £300 and would last any student a good 5 or so years.

Hi, everyone! Exciting news: Midlands Drum Academy is expanding and moving to a new premises in the new year with our last lessons of 2023 being on the weekend of 16th and 17th of December.

We've had a blast here at Neon Sound Studios to get us off the ground and we'll be moving to Avon Business and Leisure at https://g.co/kgs/Eoghzm

Starting from Saturday the 6th of January.

1) This will enable us to have lessons on Friday evenings
2) A venue better suited for everyone and is inclusive of students under 18
3) It puts us in better stead to create more ties with our local Cannock community.

Drum kits for beginners are common on Facebook marketplace. You can get a decent setup for around 100-200! Here's an example of what to look for:

Three toms, bass drum with kick pedal, snare drum, throne (seat), hi-hats and cymbals.
