All of our workshops are narrative-led and focus on introducing students to piano and composition techniques which they will use to create their own musical worlds. 🌍

Students can expect a fun, engaging time of music-making in which they are supported to think laterally and creatively.

Students will be given the practical tools to unlock their musicality, culminating in the creation of their own cinematic, evocative piano pieces (plus the supporting takeaway sheets to consolidate their learning at home).

Children aged 7–12 years will explore rhythm, melody and musical storytelling — composing their own music for the woodland world they help bring to life.

Students can expect a morning of creativity, music making and a whole lot of fun. Perfect for imaginative young people who love stories as much as they love music.

In this creative 2-hour workshop, children aged 7–12 discover what makes K-Pop so irresistibly catchy, then create and perform their own original K-Pop melodies on the piano.

From catchy hooks to driving rhythms, they'll learn the musical ingredients behind the hit film soundtrack, and use them to make something completely their own.

Set sail on a musical adventure from the shores of Burntisland in this immersive 2-hour piano workshop for children ages 7–12.

Young Wayfinders will explore the building blocks of music - rhythm, melody and harmony - through an unfolding seafaring story set against the backdrop of our waterfront studio overlooking the Forth.
