We have a few spaces left for children ages 7+ in our new 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀.

Imagineers classes are a brilliant starting point for new young piano students. Classes focus on laying the musical foundations to support students in becoming excellent pianists, all within a fun small group setting of 3-4 students.

The new classes we have available are:

For K-Pop loving 7-12 year olds this summer!

In this creative 2-hour workshop, children aged 7–12 discover what makes K-Pop so irresistibly catchy, then create and perform their own original K-Pop melodies on the piano.

From catchy hooks to driving rhythms, they'll learn the musical ingredients behind the hit film soundtrack, and use them to make something completely their own.

Skill level: No experience needed — just energy and enthusiasm. Suitable for absolute beginners - grade 1.

Group size: Maximum 10 places.

✨ Musical Wayfinders: Set Sail on a Musical Voyage and Restore the Heart of Burntisland! (Students will learn music fundamentals and creative composition through the 'hero's journey' story arc of Moana)

✨ Write Your Own Video Game Music (Students will map out their own video game stories and compose scores in the style of Minecraft and Roblox!)

All workshops are perfect for ages 7-12 years, for absolute beginners up to grade 1 level.

☀️ Good morning and happy holidays to all of our students! ☀️

We are so looking forward to having many of you join us at the upcoming summer workshops - kicking off next week ✨

I have loved every step of creating these workshops - from designing the musical constraints for each challenge/chapter of the workshop, to creating the takeaway packs with composition exercises, themed activity sheets and musical reference info for students to continue their learning at home. (The title pages double as a colouring page so that each student can go on to customise their pack at home.)

All workshops focus on giving students the tools and knowledge to write their own cinematic music, and to further engage with their creativity and imagination. We’ll be:

✨ Writing music for our own Minecraft and Roblox games in ‘Write Your Own Video Game Music’

✨ Learning about musical patterns amidst the waves of ‘Musical Wayfinders: Set sail on a musical voyage and restore the heart of Burntisland!’

✨ Writing our own K-Pop songs around a Hero’s Journey narrative in ‘K-Pop Melody Makers’

✨ Scoring the magical characters and lands of the Faraway Tree in ‘Composing the Enchanting World of Enid Blyton

All of our workshops are narrative-led and focus on introducing students to piano and composition techniques which they will use to create their own musical worlds. 🌍

Students will be given the practical tools to unlock their musicality, culminating in the creation of their own cinematic, evocative piano pieces (plus the supporting takeaway sheets to consolidate their learning at home).
