Turtle Tots is a unique and innovative award winning baby & toddler swimming programme.

Our unique and fun Turtle Tots Swimming lessons are available for you and your child from birth to 4 years. During our progressive lessons you will learn how to swim with your baby in a fun, relaxed, interactive environment using songs and toys, we will also teach your baby key life saving skills while building their water confidence. Each class is a special bonding experience for mums or dads and their babies while also being a fantastic workout as each class has been designed and endorsed by Professor Greg Whyte OBE, Olympian and sport scientist. All teachers are fully qualified with the STA (Swimming Teachers Association)

Our Autumn Term at The Diving Centre in East Boldon is just getting started - we still have a few spaces available! 🐢💦

If you’ve been thinking about starting your little one’s swimming journey with us, now is a great time to join us.

This lovely warm pool is heated to 30-31°C, with underfloor heating around the poolside to keep everyone cosy. There are male and female changing rooms, showers, hairdryers and lockers, plus a viewing area where spectators are very welcome! 🥰

There’s also free parking at the venue and on the surrounding side streets, with East Boldon Metro Station just a short walk away.

Come join us in the pool and watch your toddler build amazing confidence as they start to learn to swim independently with woggles, ride woggle "horses" 🐴 and practice vital water safety skills.

Our classes are completely child-led, focusing on fun, magical moments, and letting every child progress at their own pace 💚

What a fantastic start to the term! 🥺🫶

We've loved seeing everyone back in the water - and meeting a few new faces!

We've had one familiar face join us in the Hadrian School Hydrotherapy pool Turtle class... Teacher Sian is currently on maternity leave and swimming with her own gorgeous baby boy, Jason! 💚

We hope all our wonderful families have the best time in the pool this term 🐢💦

We hope you have the most amazing time making new friends, learning lots and having so much fun!

For those of you who are leaving Turtle Tots as you head off to school… we’ll miss your little faces (and splashes!) in the pool each week! Remember, once a Turtle Tot, always a Turtle Tot! 🐢💦

And of course, we’re thinking of all the lovely Mums, Dads and grown-ups too! That first day of school is a big one for you as well - a mixture of excitement, pride, nerves... and perhaps a few happy tears! 🥹You’ve got this! 💚
