As part of Healthy Eating Week, our children enjoyed a sensory taste testing session, exploring a variety of healthy alternative snacks.
We are so proud of everyone for being brave, curious, and willing to try new foods. It was wonderful to see the children using their senses to describe different tastes, textures, and smells, and sharing their thoughts with their peers.
The healthy snack options were a huge hit, with many children discovering new favourites! Well done to all our food explorers for embracing the experience with such enthusiasm. 🍎🥕🍇

🏗️📏 Class 3 Construction Challenge! 📏🏗️
This afternoon, Class 3 took their first steps into the world of construction with a fun, hands-on lesson all about measuring and building!
Using tape measures, the children practised measuring each other and explored how different lengths compare. They then put their problem solving skills to the test by seeing if they could successfully roll Maltesers down a tape measure, lots of excitement and a few unexpected twists along the way! 🍫😄
To finish, the class became mini engineers, designing and building bridge structures using lollipop sticks. It was fantastic to see their creativity, teamwork, and determination as they experimented with different designs and discovered what makes a strong structure.
A brilliant afternoon of learning through play, exploration, and practical challenges! 👷♀️👷♂️🌉

We have enjoyed a calm and positive start back after the half-term break. The children settled in beautifully and spent time expressing themselves through art.
We are looking forward to another fantastic week of learning together! 🎨✨
