🖼️ ART IN PRE-SCHOOL 🖼️
The children in Pre-School have been learning “All about me” this week they have created their own self portrait. We began our activity by using and developing our observational skills by looking in the mirror at our facial features, we spoke about what we could see- eyes, ears, nose and mouth… some children noticed their eye brows, eye lashes cheeks and chin!!
We extended our learning by talking about what we use each feature for… looking, smelling, tasting and listening.
The children then drew their self-portrait! I think we have some very amazing artists!
