We are looking to appoint a Parent/Carer Governor at Coal Clough Academy.

This role will provide the opportunity for the right person to work closely with other experienced professionals, to drive the school’s priorities forward and have open discussions offering challenge and support to Senior Leaders.

The Local Governing Body is looking for candidates with skills/experience, which may include a background in HR/Finance/Law/ Education/ Health/ Social Care.

Free Parent/Child Fishing Sessions are available on a Saturday morning at Cornfield Farm Fishery, Cornfield Grove, Burnley, BB12 8UB.

No fishing equipment or previous experience is required and is opportunity for parents to have fun with their child/children.

A little reminder it’s non uniform this week for students. We need them to be comfortable in this heatwave.
