We’re so proud of our fantastic Year 4 children who took part in a brilliant Tag Rugby Festival this week! 🌟

Children showed great energy, teamwork, sportsmanship and gave it their all on the pitch – showing skill, determination, and (most importantly) smiles all round! 😄

A huge thank you to Burnley School Sport Partnership and coaches, who made the morning such a success – and well done to every single player for your effort and enthusiasm. 🎉

What an AMAZING day at the OAA Bonanza in Towneley Park!

Our young adventurers took on every challenge with courage, teamwork, and tons of fun! From problem-solving to outdoor games, the energy and enthusiasm were off the charts. 💪🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A huge well done to all our Year 2, 3 and 4 explorers. You showed fantastic spirit and made unforgettable memories together! 🎉👏

Our Year 5 & 6 Girls and Boys Cricket Teams have both won GOLD at the Burnley Cricket Events. They will now compete at the Lancashire County Finals at Ormskirk Cricket Club in July. Please show your support and wish them the best of luck!

As a reward for securing the title of the Most Active School we welcomed a special guest named Ash Randall, who is a Freestyle Footballer and world record holder. ⚽️🪄✨
With jaw dropping tricks, inspiring stories and plenty of smiles, the children were left in awe.

Not only did children witness incredible football tricks, they also learned about perseverance, creativity and the importance of following their passions. A huge thank you to Ash Randall for bringing so much energy and excitement to our school.

Thank you for being part of our journey—here’s to even more adventures ahead! 🚀

For International Walk to School month, we are taking part in the WOW Autumn Top Ten Challenge from the 1st - 31st October 2024. Please encourage your family and friends to walk or park and stride to school every day to help us finish the challenge at the top of the leaderboard! If you are park and striding, please can you park on Oswald Street or Burleigh Street then walk the rest of the way to school. This helps to reduce the number of vehicles moving around near our school entrance, making it safer and happier for everyone!
