This morning babies explored mark making on carboard using water.🎨🎨
This is a simple activities you can create at home using very little resources to support your child's development.
Babies loved joining in and exploring different shapes marks and patterns, we used our gross motor skills moving alongside the carboard and creating big scale pictures.

Rainbow interest 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Pre-school joining in science experiment and exploring colours.
We predicated what will happen next and encouraged children to take turns during setting up the skittles on the plate. We counted them along way and talked about rainbows and how they happen.
At the end children were able to explain the process and remember all the colours we have used in the experiment.

Harvest time🌞🌻
Who remembers our vegetable patch and strawberry garden?🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
Well after a long time of looking after all the plants and watering them daily, today was time to pick all those delicious strawberries, they were very tasty. We also picked some potatoes we've planted and we are eager to cook them tomorrow for our lunch. 🥔🥔🍲

We've had so much fun engaging with games, decorating biscuits and having a special visit from a Bear during our Teddy Bear picnic.

As some of our parents may have noticed our Manager, Emma's absence from Nursery this week, we wanted to share the very exciting reason behind it.
Emma and her fiancé Joe got married last month and are currently celebrating their honeymoon with their beautiful children!!
We wanted to wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Employee of the Month for May is Abi 😀⭐️🎉🎊

Abi has been working extremely hard supporting her team in pre-school room and providing a creating and exciting opportunities within our provision. She has been supporting new pre-schoolers in settling into the room and has developed strong bonds with all children. She was chosen by staff for her positive attitude and support she provides others.
Abi is always smiling and makes everyone feel welcomed.
Well done Abi! 🩷

A small group of Babies went out into our local community today and walked to the local park. We saw lots of different things during our walk like cars, dogs and had a look at all the nature around us. Jess and Kara picked some leaves and flowers for the babies to explore using their touch and we collected some flowers to bring back to do some printing with paint, we enjoyed getting messy and exploring the sensory experience this provided! 🌷🌸🌺

Toddlers and Preschool have been keeping cool through this hot weather by exploring ice! During this activity we used our senses to feel the cold sensation the ice was providing, we also looked at the different colours we could see as the ice was melting and mix them all together! 🌞🌞

Last Wednesday we had a special visit from Emily's Mini Farm 😀where they brought lots of different animals for us to meet and pet! They had Alpacas, Goats and sheep too! We learnt lots of different facts about the animals and their habitats. 🐏🐑
