As the weather gets warmer, we would like to remind everyone about the importance of staying safe around water. Please see the water safety poster below.
Open water can be dangerous, even in warm weather. Please take care and follow the safety advice provided.
Children and young people may not always be aware of these risks, so we encourage parents and carers to discuss water safety at home and reinforce these important messages. By working together, we can help keep everyone safe

Bikeability came into school this week and delivered cycling sessions to students. The Bikeability Trust aims to encourage more people to cycle by giving them the confidence and skills needed to ride safely. Their mission is to make cycling a normal choice for short journeys while promoting independence, exercise, and enjoyment. The students who took part successfully gained either Level 1 or Level 2 Bikeability awards, developing important cycling and road safety skills.
Well done everyone happy safe cycling!!! 🚲

We would like to thank Go Velo Burnley for delivering these sessions to our students they have thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity.

Last Wednesday, we were celebrating International Dance Day at Broadfield with a fantastic range of workshops enjoyed by our students. The day concluded with a wonderful parent and carer session, bringing everyone together to share in the experience.

It was a lovely day, and we’d like to extend our thanks to everyone who took part and made it special. We look forward to celebrating again next year!
