You will:
Take strategic oversight of curriculum, teaching, learning and quality
Lead self-assessment to ensure consistently high-quality learner experiences
Line-manage Vice Principals
Act as the College’s Ofsted nominee
Deputise for the Principal as required

🌍 Seeing sustainability in action.

Our Environmental Science A Level learners put their knowledge into practice with a visit to the plant room and solar panels right here on campus.

They explored how real-world environmental challenges are being tackled at Burnley College, from monitoring energy use to tracking water savings. It’s all part of our commitment to taking sustainability seriously.

One student, who is also part of our Sustainability committee, said:

“It is really good to see that what we said in the sustainability meeting coming to life.”

Study real-world issues and solutions on a course that pairs well with subjects including Geography, Geology, Politics, Biology and Chemistry.
