Happy Faces Childcare We are a small charity setting in south west Burnley caring for children aged 2-4yrs. partnership between home and our setting.

We are proud to have a full team of paediatric first aiders and were commended by Ofsted on our highly knowledgeable and affective support systems for children with SEND The Purpose of Happy Faces Education

All children are given the opportunity to learn by exploring, observing, listening and talking, responding, thinking and experiencing in a variety of situations. Children will, of course, be e

ncouraged to develop and practice skills which will contribute positively to their ability to cope with more formal education. In our nursery here, we feel that good quality provision is very important in assisting the overall development of the young child. While your children are with us, we aim to provide them with a wealth of experiences which will help them develop self awareness, a high level of self esteem, and equip them with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to help them achieve their full potential. Our Aims

• provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children can feel happy and secure

• encourage the emotional, social, physical and intellectual development of the children

• promote the welfare of the children

• encourage positive attitudes to self and others and develop confidence and self-esteem

• create opportunities for play

• encourage children to explore, appreciate and respect their environment

• provide opportunities to stimulate interest and imagination

• extend children’s abilities to communicate ideas and feelings in a variety of ways.
