The School Council is delighted to announce that our recent cake and doughnut sale raised an amazing £395 to support the development of our new reading area.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and took part in the event, your generosity made this possible.
We are also incredibly grateful to Lancashire Roofing and Building Company, who have kindly supported our school by developing exciting and thoughtful plans for our new reading area. Their creativity, time, and commitment to improving our school environment are truly appreciated, and we feel very lucky to be working with such a supportive local company.
The School Council is really excited about the plans created by Lancashire Roofing and Building Company and cannot wait to see our new reading space begin to take shape.

Our last full day has seen the children doing orienteering, the leap of faith, Jacob’s ladder, sensory trail and some more archery. The day finished with some PGL games. The children have been incredible, challenging themselves and supporting each other.

Year 5 were at Roefield yesterday competing in the final of the A team league in the absence of Year 6 who are at Winmarleigh. They worked hard and kept going in the face of challenge. We are very proud of them and look forward to seeing how they progress as a team next year!

A great day of adventure for our Year 6’s today. We’ve had a fantastic day and have seen every type of weather in one day! We have zipped down the zip line, swung on the high swing, made a raft and finished the day by toasting marshmallows around the campfire 🔥
